By leveraging internal resources and external partners, Solar provides a large set of IT services for Small Business. Our understanding of small business helps us to provide the services you need at a cost you can afford. We work with clients as small as a single user to over 150 users. We can work as your IT staff or work with your current staff; you pick the services that best fit your needs.
As you can tell, most of our services are still in Beta. Over this coming year we will be rolling them out. If you would like to be apart of any of our beta testing please let our staff know. This page serves as an overview of what is to come and what direction Solar is moving in.
Remote Network Monitoring and Support
Solar provides 3 levels of remote support. From monitoring to full service, we can find a match for your needs. Solar will monitor your network and hardware. If there is a failure or an error we will know within 5 minutes. We also proactively manage your network. Keeping patches up to date, Antivirus and spyware up to date and trending your network to stop problems before they happen. With your network safely under watch and control by Solar, you can focus on benefiting from your network not managing it. *Beta*
Remote Email Antivirus / Spam Filtering
ExchangeDefender provides a complete, massively redundant solution to stop the problem of SPAM, Viruses, Worms, Spyware and other fraudulent or dangerous content. It works with any mail server and delivers a flexible and secure web based policy management for users and administrators. *Beta*
Off-Site Backup
Solar uses Ahsay backup system as the mechanism to drive the offsite backup platform. Our Off-site backup network spans 11 data centers and features enormous reliability and connectivity to the internet. Our automated backup processes moves critical data off-site to our state-of-the-art data centers and are backed up on tape as well as high-reliability enterprise systems. Web Hosting / Design
Need a web present? Let our design team help. Our staff of developers skilled in the latest technologies can put together a web present to match your company. From standard “business card” websites to full blown e-commerce sites, our staff can help.
Phone / Internet Access
Solar can provide a host of phone and internet services though are select partners. From cable, DSL, and T1 access for internet, and 1 to 100 lines or even PRI’s and VOIP for phones. These services are billed directly to you, but solar can be called upon for support or other questions.
Computer Parts and Service
Solar carries a full line of parts, from routers and switches, to custom workstations and servers. Most problems are due to problems on the workstations. This includes virus, spyware, missing files, and even low performance due to hardware or hardware failures. Our staff is experienced with performing upgrades and repairs and performing spyware and virus removal.
